- Pre-arrange chassis & genset if reefer; confirm peel-pile eligibility
- Have transload/yard storage as fallback for missed windows
Docs readiness
- Release confirmed (steamship line), customs holds cleared
- BOL, arrival notice, and pickup numbers consolidated
- If OS&D risk: prep inspection & photo SOP
Execution
- Tight dispatch comms; gate-in/out timestamps; exception logging
- Detention rules per terminal; escalate early for delays
- Share POD + photos immediately to billing
